Customer notice

Distribution Engine is the new trading name of NC Squared.

We have a new name. NC Squared now does business as Distribution Engine.

Most of our customers already call us that, after the product they've used for years, so we've made it our official trading name.

Beyond that, it's the same company, same team, same products. NC Squared, Inc. and NC Squared Limited remain our legal entities, so your contracts and invoices are unaffected.

What you need to do.

Nothing is required. Three optional tasks are worth passing to your IT or Salesforce admin.

  1. Allowlist our new email domain. Ask IT to allow mail from distributionengine.com so support replies, renewal notices and release updates are not filtered as spam.
  2. Update saved links. Bookmarks and internal documentation pointing at nc-squared.com will redirect, but updating them keeps your records accurate.
  3. If it helps, let your accounts payable team know that invoices will show the Distribution Engine trading name from September 16 2026. Nothing needs to change at their end, and a heads-up now avoids an unnecessary query.

There is nothing to do inside Salesforce. The managed package, your routing rules, teams, reports and dashboards are all unaffected. No reinstall or upgrade is needed.

The products.

Distribution Engine continues as it is: rules-based routing for Leads, Cases, Opportunities and other Salesforce objects, no-code and fully native. The only difference is that it is now the company name as well as the product name.

Booking Engine also continues as it is, with the same name, the same AppExchange listing and the same roadmap. It becomes a Distribution Engine product rather than an NC Squared one. If you use both apps together, nothing about how they work alongside each other changes.
