Distribution Engine is a native Salesforce app which makes it easy to install and configure. You can install into a Sandbox or into a Production org. Simply go to our AppExchange listing and click “Get it Now”.
Please note – you must have Salesforce Enterprise edition or higher, Distribution Engine cannot run on Professional edition.
You will need someone with Salesforce admin skills to manage a successful Salesforce process. But for admins familiar with the basics of assignment & workflow rules, queues and views then you will find Distribution Engine very straightforward to setup.

As you might expect this varies widely by company and depends on the complexity of the process you want to follow. Some customers are up and running within hours and some take weeks or months to consider how they might roll this out amongst other process changes. Typically mid sized customers with 50 – 100 reps take 3 or 4 weeks to reach an initial live configuration and then continue to tweak their setup over time as the business changes.
